Arsenal have received a bid for French defender Sebastien Squillaci. The big stopper has been out of favour for both club and country recently and would be looking for a move that could see him playing regular football again.
The Sun reports that newly promoted side, Bastia, want him to return the Lique 1. The 31 year old has previous experience in the French league, playing for both Monaco and Lyon. He was part of the Lyon double winning side in season 2007/08. He also won the Copa Del Rey with Spanish side Sevilla in 2010 before signing a 3 year deal with Premiership side, Arsenal.
Sebastien Squillaci’s 2 years at Arsenal has seen him play 38 games in all competitions, scoring 2 goals. He has 21 caps for France and also qualifies to play for non-FIFA affiliated team Corsica.
