Brazilian wonderkid Neymar has put Chelsea on alert by naming them as one of the sides he would consider moving to when he makes his long-awaited transfer to Europe.
Neymar is expected to leave current club Santos in the next two years, and seems to have placed Barcelona top of his list of destinations. However a move to the Nou Camp is far from certain, and the striker named Chelsea as a possible option.
“Who wouldn’t dream about playing alongside Messi, Xavi and [Andres] Iniesta? They’re all great players,” he toldĀ Esporte Espetacular. “I dream of playing in Europe, for a big club like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea.”
The 21-year-old Brazil international netted 34 goals in 33 domestic matches in 2012.
