Paulo Dybala to Real Madrid? Will the Argentine be the next Galactico?

Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala. The 23 year old, who is the Bianconeri’s second highest earner after Gonzalo Higuain, has been in a stunning form for the Old Lady, netting 10 goals in six games so far in the 2017/18 season. That’s an incredible stat, given he scored only 11 times in 31 appearances for Juve last season, and is perhaps another indication that he is entering his prime.

With Eden Hazard likely to commit to Chelsea and moves for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kylian Mbappe not working out, Real have identified the Argentine as their potential new Galactico. There is also talk of a move for Antoine Greizmann, although whether Atleti will sell the Frenchman to their cross town rivals is another story in itself. Man Utd turn to Real Madrid midfielder

Manchester United are keen on bringing Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago to Old Trafford, according to reports in Spain.

The Argentine midfielder spent last season on loan at Roma, but a deal to take Gago to the Olimpico on a prmanant deal is unlikely.

Gago, 26, is surplus to requirements in Jose Mourinho’s Madrid side, and could be of interest to Man Utd as an alternative to Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric, who may be priced out of a move to Manchester.

Loyalty shown from Newcastle number 9

Newcastle were given some good news today as star striker Papiss Cisse reaffirmed his intention to stay at St James’ Park. The Sun have reported that despite growing interest from Europe’s elite, the Senegalese striker wants to stay in the North-East for ‘many years’ after coming so close to Champions League qualification last year.

It is no wonder teams like Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid are keen to bring the 27-year-old to their respective clubs. After signing for £10-million in January, Cisse went on to score 13 goals in 14 games including a wonder volley at Stamford Bridge in May. The same hope cannot be kept for strike partner Demba Ba as a £7 million release clause attracts interest from around Europe.

Big Sam looks to Real Madrid to strengthen attack

Winning the play-offs was just the beginning for Sam Allardyce as he now turns his attention to making West Ham a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League. According to the Daily Mirror the former Bolton and Newcastle manager intends to do just that by bringing in highly rated Real Madrid attacker Joselu, with a bid in the region of £7 million.

Although born in Germany, Joselu has featured for Spain’s U19, U20 and U21 squads, making 16 appearances and scoring in 4 of them. He has featured twice for the Real Madrid senior team, netting on both occasions, but has spent most of his career playing for Real Madrid Castilla, getting an impressive 38 goals in 71 games for the Liga Adelante side.

Maradona wants to bring Drogba to UAE

Diego Maradona is looking to steal Didier Drogba from the clutches of Chinese team Shanghai Shenhua. The Sun have reported that the former World Cup winner wants the Ivorian to join him in the United Arab Emirates, believing that his club, Al Wasi, have the resources available to trump the Chinese Super League side.

Reports circulating suggest that Shanghai are willing to offer Drogba £300,000 a week, making the 34-year-old their highest paid player. Though there are thoughts that money isn’t the only thing motivating the former Chelsea striker and a reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid could still be on the cards. Drogba netted 65 times in 142 games for the Portuguese manager in their time together at Chelsea.

Real Madrid enter the race to sign Mauricio Isla of Udinese

According to Sport Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Udinese right wing-back Mauricio Isla. The Spanish giant are reportedly preparing a bid of 17 million euros to sign him.

Isla have been subject of transfer speculation for a long time, with Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus vying for the full-back. Few days back, in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb his agent, Claudio Vagheggi, stated: “We’ve already talked to Paris Saint-Germain management, but it’s too soon to deal about next transfer market session. Mauricio, anyway, would be glad to join Inter“. Inter have also lined up Kyle Walker of Tottenham as a backup plan if they fail to land Isla.

Real Madrid are in need of a right back, as in the past season Sergio Ramos has played most of the games as a center back, and Mourinho believes he will develop more in the central role. The other option that Madrid has is Alvaro Arbeloa, who is only a stop-gap solution at the best. Real has also been linked with Gregory van der Wiel of Ajax as another possible target. Isla would be a good option for Madrid as he offers a lot while going forward. But at the moment Inter looks to be the most possible destination for the wing-back.

Sergio Aguero pledges his future to Manchester City

Sergio Aguero has today revealed that he will ignore the advice of his father-in-law Diego Maradona, and remain at Manchester City, according to today’s Daily Mail report.

There had been speculation that Real Madrid were interested in luring Aguero to the Bernabeu, and Maradona had reportedly advised the Argentine that this was the right move. However, Aguero has today confirmed his allegiance to City, claiming that he hopes to win many more trophies in his time there. The news will come as great relief to the blue half of Manchester, as the Argentine striker has enjoyed a fantastic first season, and is undoubtedly crucial in any future success his side will have.

Ivanovic not interested in The Special One

The Sun today reports Jose Mourinho is looking into the possibility of bringing Branislav Ivanovic to the Bernabeu. The Special One is keen on strengthening his defence and has directed his attention towards the powerhouse Chelsea defender. Ivanovic has had another excellent season at the Blues, picking up FA Cup and Champions League winners medals, as well as enjoying personal recognition by being one of three players nominated for the Chelsea Player of the Year Award, losing out to Juan Mata.

The 28 year old Serbian spoke freely about Madrid’s interest, admitting: “I know there is an interest from Madrid, who are following me. But it’s not the time to talk about it now”. But Ivanovic, whose contract at Chelsea runs until 2016, was quick to stress his content at his current club, stating: “I’m very happy with Chelsea. I have just won the Champions League, a change is complicated. I am very happy in London.”
