Liverpool keeping tabs on Castaignos future

Liverpool are considering a move for Inter’s 19-year-old striker Luc Castaignos.

The player only moved to the Milan side a year ago from Feyenoord in a 3m Euro deal, but is already being linked with an exit.

He told Sky Italia: “Inter wants to loan me to an Italian club or sell me, I told them that I don’t want to play anywhere else in Italy but at Inter.

“I came to Italy to wear the Nerazzurri colours and not play for any other club. Now I must go and Inter will help me find a club.

I am saddened, I cannot deny it, I am disappointed not to have shown my worth, but this is football.”

The player has been linked with Liverpool on numerous occassions in the past 6 months, and it remains to be seen if the player fits the bill for new manager Brendan Rodgers.
