Despite constant speculation linking them with a move for Robin Van Persie, it seems that Juventus feel that the Dutch striker may have already partially agreed a new deal with Arsenal. Their attention, according to the Daily Mail, has turned towards Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. The big striker has found his appearances at Eastland’s limited this season, mostly making late shows from the sub’s bench.
If Juventus were too come in with a bid, their status of unbeaten champions of Italy may provide some cause for Dzeko to consider his future, especially if they could offer him a starting place every week. However, Juventus are expected to be involved in a lot of activity in this summer’s transfer market, to strengthen their squad for next season’s Champion’s League campaign, and so it remains to be seen if a bid will materialise in the coming weeks.
