According to Sky, German club Bayern Munich has offered midfielder Tymoshchuk to two Italian clubs Inter and AC Milan.
The man who has made nearly 600 appearances in club football across the continent, is sure to leave the German club before the start of next season. He has been limited to bits and part role in Munich, but has probably made his last appearance in the famous red jersey in the final of the champions league. Although the Ukrainian international, who has won 116 caps for his nation, has steered away from commenting on his future. In an interview some time back, Tymoshchuk has said “I want to make my work here and I don’t think about any rumours or my future. I’m not tracking any news“. Spartak Moscow has been linked with a move for him for a long time now.
Now, according to Sky, Bayern have offered him to Inter and AC Milan. Bayern will be looking to sell some players in order to make space for some new faces. Both the Milanese club have been in the look out for a defensive midfielder, with Milan loosing lot of experience head through retirement. Inter has already been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Lassana Diarra and Nigel de Jong of Manchester City. But Tymoshchuk mite only seem to be a back-up plan considering his age.
According to Sport Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Udinese right wing-back Mauricio Isla. The Spanish giant are reportedly preparing a bid of 17 million euros to sign him.
Isla have been subject of transfer speculation for a long time, with Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus vying for the full-back. Few days back, in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb his agent, Claudio Vagheggi, stated: “We’ve already talked to Paris Saint-Germain management, but it’s too soon to deal about next transfer market session. Mauricio, anyway, would be glad to join Inter“. Inter have also lined up Kyle Walker of Tottenham as a backup plan if they fail to land Isla.
Real Madrid are in need of a right back, as in the past season Sergio Ramos has played most of the games as a center back, and Mourinho believes he will develop more in the central role. The other option that Madrid has is Alvaro Arbeloa, who is only a stop-gap solution at the best. Real has also been linked with Gregory van der Wiel of Ajax as another possible target. Isla would be a good option for Madrid as he offers a lot while going forward. But at the moment Inter looks to be the most possible destination for the wing-back.
Dutch international Dirk Kuyt has today been quoted in The Daily Mirror as saying that his future does not lie at his former side Feyenoord, but he is looking at other top European clubs. This comes after a season in which the Liverpool attacker only contributed 5 goals and featured 35 times in all competitions for the Merseyside team, a large cut down on his previous five seasons.
It is unclear who the other clubs that are interested in the 32-year-old are, however he suggests the interest is coming from England, Germany, Spain and Italy. Kuyt is no stranger to transfer speculation, last year he was linked with a big money move to Serie A side Inter Milan, but that failed move to materialize.
According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan have shortlisted two names for their backline. The Nerazzurri have lined up Matías Silvestre of Palermo and Alexis Rolin of Nacional.
Silvestre’s future has been a subject of speculation ever since he quoted in an interview with TMW saying “Next season I want to play for an ambitious club that takes part in European competition. I heard talk of many clubs interested in me and I am the right age to take that step up in quality. I want to do that from next year.”. A host of clubs like AS Roma, Napoli, Tottenham Hotspur, Zenit St. Petersburg have already been linked with a move for him. But if reports are to be believed, Inter and Tottenham are leading the race for his signature at the moment. The London club is believed to have kept Silvestre as an backup plan if their move for Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen fails to materialize. Inter though, are in desperate need of reinforcement following their hugely disappointing season.
The other defender who has been linked with a move to San Siro is Alexis Rolin. Both Genoa and Inter had sent scout this weekend to watch the center back in action against Wanderers. Having lifted the Apertura title in December 2011, Rolin has already made his mark. It is yet to be seen which Serie A club wins the race for his signature.
France’s powerhouse defensive midfielder, Yann M’Vila has today had all talks of a transfer away from Rennes put on hold after the club told those interested ‘Wait until after Euro 2012’. The Metro are claiming that this next step in M’Vila’s transfer saga is due to the club believing that more of Europe’s elite will be interested in him after he showcases his talents in the championships.
This is sure to put a spanner in Arsene Wenger’s transfer plans as he was looking to finalize a deal for the French player before the tournament. Last summer his attempts were thwarted by Rennes wanting £25 million, whereas now it is thought they would accept a bid of around £15 million. Inter Milan are amongst other clubs vying for M’Vila’s signature.
