Liverpool are front-runners to bring Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo to the Premier League this summer, should their 13m Euro deal for Roma forward Fabio Borini fall through.
The Reds are known to be in the market for a striker, and with reports suggesting Andy Carroll could be offloaded on loan, Negredo would fit the bill as his replacement.
Should the deal for Borini be completed, both Arsenal and Malaga are interested in the forward, report AS.
Liverpool’s move for Fabio Borini is almost complete, according to Sky Sport 24 in Italy.
Borini, who has previously spent time in the Premier League with Chelsea and Swansea City, is set to complete a 13m Euro move from AS Roma in the coming days.
Turkish side Bursaspor are being strongly linked with a move for Manchester City central defender Kolo Toure.
The manager, Ertugrul Saglam told Dogan News Agency: “We have been talking with Kolo Toure for two days: we’re talking about the most important operation by a Turkish club. Obviously we can’t say anything is certain until we put pen on paper, but we are working hard to complete the deal.”
AC Milan superstars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva could be set for a big money move to PSG, according to reports in Italy.
PSG, managed by former Milan Coach Leonardo, is a big admirer of the duo, and despite Thiago Silva recently signing a new deal with the Rossoneri, the newly rich French side are thought to be preparing a 65m Euro move.
It is believed Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has given the ok to the deal, and vice-president Adriano Galliani will fly to Paris to continue talks.
Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung, taking the South Korea international to Loftus Road for a fee of £5m, the BBC has reported.
Park had a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, having signed an extension last summer, but has been allowed by Sir Alex Ferguson to move on to pastures new. Park becomes QPR manager Mark Hughes’ sixth signing of the summer so far, after the former United striker also brought in Andrew Johnson, Ryan Nelsen and Robert Green, all on free transfers, and made the loan deal of Samba Diakite permanent. Park will also see a familiar face at QPR as the club have already signed Fabio da Silva on loan from Man Utd.
The 31-year-old made 133 Premier League appearances for United, scoring 19 goals, and won the league title four times and the Champions League once in his seven years at the club.
