Javier Hernandez has become the latest player to leave Man Utd after completing a transfer to Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen. The Mexican forward has not started a game for LVG’s men in the last year, and has moved for a fee of £7.3m. Dortmund have completed the signing of Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj on a season long loan. The move will re-united Januzaj with former Manchester United teammate Shinji Kagawa, who is currently at the Westfalenstadion.
Januzaj has three years left on his current deal with Manchester United. The arrival of Januzaj is set to allow Jakub Blaszczykowski and Kevin Grosskreutz moves away from Dortmund.

Sunderland have completed the signing of Swedish star Ola Toivonen on a season long loan from Stade Rennais. The move re-unites Toivonen, who can play both as an attacking midfielder and a a striker, with Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat, who coached the former when he was at PSV Eindhoven.
Advocaat has publicly hit out at Sunderland’s transfer spending in recent years, saying that “crazy spending” on “lower than adverage” players has left him handicapped in the current transfer window.
Rangers have completed the signing of Gedion Zelalem on loan from Arsenal. The 18 year old was born in Germany, but raised in the United States, and played for them in the U20 World Cup in New Zealand earlier this year.
Rangers currently compete in the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish League football. Zelalem will be on loan at Ibrox till January 2016. (more…)
Former West Ham forward Alessandro Diamanti has joined Watford on a season long loan from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande. Diamanti becomes Watford’s 12th signing of the summer. He was part of the Italian squad that finished runners up behind Spain at Euro 2012.
West Bromwich Albion have broken their own transfer record after shelling out £12m to sign Jose Salomon Rondon from Russian outfit Zenit St.Petersburg. Rondon’s transfer fee comfortably exceeds the previous record £10m Albion forked out to sign Brown Ideye.
Rondon has signed a four year contract with the Hawthorns. He has also had stints with Malaga and Rubin Kazan, and WBA manager Tony Pulis said he had spoken to Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who was Rondon’s manager in his time with Malaga.
Rondon will however not be eligible to play in Albion’s Premier League opener against Man City tonight

Everton have completed the signing of striker Gerard Deulofeu on a permanent basis from Barcelona. The Toffees have paid £4.3m to Barca for the services of Deulofeu, who was also on loan at Goodison Park during the 2013/14 season.
Deulofeu was also delighted with the transfer, and posted a tweet that said ” I’m back! Once a blue, always a blue!”

Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the signing of promising Swiss youngster Nico Elvedi. The 18 year joins from FC Zurich and has been capped by Switzerland at various youth levels.
Gladbach, who will compete in the Champions League this year thanks to their third place finish in the Bundesliga, said that Elvedi had penned a four year contract, and they thought the player had the goods to make it big in Germany.
Elvedi is a versatile player who can feature as both a central or a right defender, and can even fill in as a central midfielder, should the need arise.
Tottenham have completed the signing of Burnley defender Kieran Trippier. The Man City youth product has spent three productive seasons at Turf Moor and has chosen to switch clubs after the Clarets were relegated from the Premier League.
